Biography
Anwar Wade is a Community Researcher and Project Coordinator at the University of Belize Environmental Research Institute (UB-ERI), working on the Climate Crossroads: Futures for People and Nature in Central Belizeproject. He has expertise in climate adaptation planning, watershed management, and participatory research, with extensive experience designing community engagement methodologies, coordinating multi-stakeholder workshops, and integrating socio-economic, spatial, and biodiversity data. Anwar holds a Bachelor’s degree in Bioenvironmental Systems Engineering and has worked across Belize and internationally to support climate resilience, ecosystem service assessments, and policy-relevant environmental planning
