Biography
I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Natural Resources Management from the University of Belize. I am deeply passionate about preserving natural habitats and promoting responsible resource use. My interest in jaguar conservation and research in Belize stems from my fascination with wildlife and the vital role jaguars play in maintaining healthy ecosystems. Beyond my love for
wildlife, I have developed a strong appreciation for mangrove ecosystems. My first project focused on mangrove research, conservation, and restoration an area I took the initiative to
explore upon joining the University of Belize Environmental Research Institute in July 2024. During my time at UB-ERI, I aim to enhance my analytical and project management skills while fostering stronger connections with researchers and experts both in Belize and internationally.
