Biography

Elias Alamina is a Marine Biology student at the University of Belize and a Marine Intern at the University of Belize Environmental Research Institute (UB-ERI), where he contributes to marine science research and fieldwork. He is gaining hands-on experience in marine ecology and conservation, including participating in eDNA method training with partners such as the Smithsonian Marine Conservation Program and reef heath monitoring. Elias combines his academic studies with practical field and laboratory work to support data collection and analysis for coastal and marine research in Belize
